On March 13, Omphalos Korea signed an MOU with FuriosaAI, Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB) Korea Preclinical Evaluation Center (KPEC), Yonsei University College of Pharmacy, and Insilicox to build a collaborative ecosystem for AI-powered drug development.

This partnership aims to integrate domestic NPU-based AI computing infrastructure with advanced digital biology platforms to accelerate innovation across the drug discovery pipeline.

Key areas of collaboration include:
โ€ข AI-driven drug discovery research
โ€ข Development of Digital AI Cells and digital biology platforms
โ€ข Bio-focused LLMs and data analytics platforms
โ€ข Next-generation bio-specialized computational logic
โ€ข Integration of data platforms with large-scale computing farms

Omphalos will contribute its programmable digital biology platform and digital cell modeling capabilities, helping expand the use of AI-powered simulation technologies in drug discovery.

By combining advanced AI semiconductor infrastructure with digital biology, this consortium aims to strengthen Koreaโ€™s emerging AI drug discovery ecosystem and accelerate the development of next-generation therapeutics.
We look forward to working with our partners to build the digital infrastructure that will power the future of biomedical innovation.
